PDF → Word, in your browser

Turn a PDF into an editable Word document.

Drop a PDF in. Get back a .docx you can actually edit — text, layout and images reconstructed, not just a scanned image pasted into a page. Nothing is uploaded to a permanent store, and nothing needs an account.

How the conversion works

  1. 01

    Upload your .pdf

Drag it into the box above, or browse and select it. Files stay under 25 MB.

  2. 02

We reconstruct it, not re-guess it

The same layout engine that renders documents for printing is used in reverse, rebuilding text, paragraphs and images into an editable document structure.

  3. 03

    Download, and it's gone

Your Word file downloads straight to your device. The original PDF and the converted copy are both deleted from our servers within minutes.

Genuinely editable

Real text and layout, not a picture of the page pasted into a document.

Common questions

Can I edit the Word document after converting from PDF?

Yes. The output is a genuine .docx file with editable text, not an image of the page, so you can open it directly in Word or any compatible editor.

Is my PDF stored after conversion?

No. Your file is processed in memory, converted, and permanently deleted within minutes. Only anonymous usage counts are kept, never the document itself.

Will a scanned PDF convert to editable text?

This tool converts a PDF's existing text and layout into Word format. A scanned image-only PDF has no underlying text to extract, so results will vary and may require OCR software for the best outcome.

What's the maximum file size?

25 MB per file, which covers the vast majority of PDFs, including ones with embedded images.
